Welcome to Josiah's Journey

This blog is inspired by Josiah’s Journey —a collection of memories and stories I captured during my son’s fight with pediatric cancer. Originally posted on Caring Bridge, we have relocated Josiah’s Journey here as a blog series.

about josiah

My son lived the vibrant, ten years God created for him. In 2015 he was diagnosed with DIPG, (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). After a 13-month battle, he passed away in May 2016.

His spirit lives on. I have been writing to capture it—both for my own healing, and to encourage families facing loss and crisis of faith. It’s incredibly difficult to overcome the fog of discouragement and grief. We need community, empathy and a place to wrestle with God. This is a safe place to do so.

Grace and peace.
